Continue with the idea of creating juxtoposed images that can be turned into sculptures. You need to photograph more buildings and make sure thatyou are paying attention to the color within the building.

Look at the work "The tower of Babel" use this as inspiration and continue to photograph different types of shop fronts you could either group them by genre or by area. Also look at Marcus Lyon BRICs series that look at emerging nations and the impact this economic boom is having on the landscape. In particular his photoshops city landscpaes. 26/11/15 Ideas for continuation and perhaps final piece: -Similar images of shop fronts, with and without pedestrians. -Different shops ranging the retail spectrum - Retail Pyramid - e.g. from offys to prada etc. 17/11/15 Photograph the abandoned cars in coldfall cemetry and the frien barnet sewage works (see beatrice piesolds weebly for locations) Think about the idea of making the rubbish and things people throw away into somthing new somthing beautifull. Look at the work of Irvin Penn and his cigarette series look for items that have been thrown away and bring them intot he studio to be photographed digitally and on film http://maddiechloe.weebly.com/practical-response.html http://phoebepaleomylites.weebly.com/unit-4.html |

Look at the 'Dirty Word Pictures' by Gilbert and George- it's another way to combine different images. You could also write a statement which is made up from the letters of brands rather than graffiti.
Visit high end car show rooms and designer shops on New Bond Street.
Garage near and Car Giant Wembley other places to visit
Visit the br tesco eakers yard to create a Juxtaposition of the two places the new car and the old ones thrown away destroyed

Upload the recycling centre images adding contacts and edits. Visit different shops and photograph the front of them try in focus and blurred use a tripod and aim to frame them in the same way in a typology style. Make sure to use a tripod when photographing at night. Try and capture a time-lapse in oxford street showing the mass of people buying into consumerism.

Take a series of photographs at frien barnet retail park in the style of Brian Ulrich. Use both film and digital. The aim is to capture the vast array of goods that we consume. Juxtapose this with photographs taken at the dump recycle centre as a means of highlighting the throw away nature of society.

Target: B
WAG: B-
Looking forward to the film of Alan's.....
To reach and even surpass your target you need a strong final film which doesn't have the issues with focus and depth of field that the other films have had.
You could also look again at your annotation and analysis.
Analysis:
Who, When, Where: Context
What: Subject matter
How: Technique
Why: Intenions
Link to the theme and your own development.

Even better if

....in relation to concept, subject, technique, artist links....
Revisit these two areas during the week between the two exam days.

Take more footage of your dad but make sure to be clear what the subject of the video is. Ultimately the music is the central theme but it is also different peoples interactions and experiences of vinyl. Try getting closer shots when he or other people are talking ask them questions (what was their first record why vinyl ect.)
Go to Alans with dad and photograph the big Al and his clients spend the day there.
Shoot stills as well as film that can be inputted into the final edit in the style of Lewis khan.

A few suggestions how to continue developing the negative space idea for your environment project:
A few suggestions how to continue developing the negative space idea for your environment project:
1: Corina Gamma- already identified by you. To do this well you need to have very little within the image and the sky must be flat and white.
2: Thomas Lamadieu- draw within the negative space or put another image that fits within it.
3: Nacho Ormaechea: Don't include people but you could perhaps blend an image of somewhere else (somewhere completely opposite to the city) into the silhouettes of London landmarks that are in silhouette within your images.
